The establishment of Problem Child Brewing indeed turned out to be a bit of a ‘problem child’. After months and months of wrangling and planning appeals, local authority permission was granted in September 2012. The brewery operates from a glass extension to the front of the Wayfarer Country Pub & Restaurant. Rachel and Jonny Birkett are the brain-child behind the brewery which is a 5-barrel plant installed by brewery specialist Vincent Johnson. First brews were produced in June 2013.
