Launch of the Good Beer Guide

Good Beer Guide 2025 launch – Thu 26 Sept
The new Good Beer Guide is launched this Thursday, available with a choice of front covers featuring either the Rover’s Return or the Woolpack – two iconic pubs from TV soaps. If you’d like a copy (strictly Rover’s Return covers available in Wigan!) we have copies available for members at £10.
To celebrate some of the Wigan pubs in this year’s edition we’re planning to visit a number of them on Thursday.
We’re starting at Sherrington’s on Kenyon Road at 7:00pm before we walk into town to sample the wide variety of beers available in the 7 Good Beer Guide pubs in and around Wigan town centre.
