Located on the main A49 between Ashton and Wigan near junction 25 of the M6, The Park has a spacious, open plan layout and separate dining including a conservatory and large, covered al fresco terrace. They hold a quiz night as well as regular live entertainment.

RAILWAY HOTEL : 4 Station Road, Garswood, WN4 0SA. (01942)745187.
Family-friendly pub with a large beer garden and children’s area. The central bar has three handpumps serving varying guest ales from the Punch Tavern range. Outside, there’s a large heated smoking area and car park to rear. The disabled should note that there is access to the beer garden via a gate at the front of the pub. A community pub, it regularly holds charity events.
Serves 3 changing beers from the Punch range.

An attractive open-plan pub in a rural setting. The legend of Simms Road can be read on the outside of the pub. Serves food and a children’s menu is available. Friday nights has a singer and on the last Saturday of month there is usually a tribute band” on.”

A local pub, in a rural setting, with an airy spacious feel to it, gradually refurbished over 2012. It has a huge car park and a nice outdoor eating and drinking area. By the bar are super sofas and seats and there are plenty of tables for their excellent pub grub. Meals served from 12 noon, are very reasonably priced and available till 8pm all week. A fairly quiet pub, with several TVs and a pool table, free WiFi, with occasional live entertainment. They have a fully fitted Disabled WC and ramps for disabled people.
Serves 1 regular beer: Ringway – Best Bitter. Serves 2 changing beers, often Ringwood – Boondoggle.
