Do not go sober this October, please

As much as we love and support the work done by Macmillan Cancer Support, we regrettably have to ask you to reconsider their fundraising campaign to ‘go sober for October’. By all means contribute to this wonderfully worthwhile cause but, at the same time, we ask you to also consider the plight of your local pubs and local breweries whose businesses have been devasted since lockdown closure in March and, upon re-opening, are struggling to return to any kind of normality due to the on-going social-distancing constraints.

Pubs and breweries need your support now more than ever before. Please do not let them down at this critical time for their survival.
